What Kind of Content Does WPD Need?

There are so many things about WordPress that WPD haven’t discussed yet. WordPress feature reviews, undiscovered themes and plugins, theme styling tips, tutorials and tips, hacks and tricks, etc. Basically anything that might be interesting to our readers.

We are interested in everything that is different from our posting style. Fulfilling empty categories and widening the range of topics is our priority. So if you have the knowledge in the field, that we are interested in, you are more than welcome to become our guest writer.

Unfortunately, we do not accept roundups on premium WordPress themes as guest articles.

What Do Authors Get in Return?

We appreciate every guest author. WPD has a great author’s bio area. It allows you to include the main facts about yourself and couple of links. You are able to provide us with the information, that best describe your current work and interests. Biography field is in a decent location within the article, allowing you to get the exposure you deserve. We pay $10-$50 per article, based on the quality and value it ads to our website.

Essential Guidelines for Guest Writers:

1. The topic should be niche specific, closely related to WordPress.

2. The posts have to be unique and can not appear the same elsewhere on the web.

3. The authors should be responsible for checking the grammar, spelling & formatting before submitting their posts for a review.

4. The authors should be ready to answer all the questions that appear in the comments section after the posts go live.

5. By submitting the posts, the authors state that they own the copyright to the text.

Additional Tips:

We love to include images within the posts, so you are also asked to include at least one or two images in every article you submit to enhance the overall effect. Please ensure that the images are available for legal reuse and credit the authors with a link to their portfolios (no need if it’s your own photos).

Don’t forget that lists and bullet points are visually appealing and help focus your writing.
